“Our core values are at the heart of
how we operate at RedEye. They
guide how we hire, how we make
decisions, and who we do
Louise Sharman, General Manager, People & Culture
Recognising that women are under-represented in Technology and Engineering, RedEye Apps launched Ladies Lunches in 2016. This is an initiative designed with the women at RedEye to connect with one another and to learn from inspiring mentors within the industry. The focus is on connection, professional development, and encouraging the participation and representation of women in STEM.
More than 1 in 4 of our team members are women.
1 in 3 of our leaders are women.
We offer paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers, with no minimum tenure. Our parents are encouraged to work flexibly so they don’t miss those important moments.

Create Opportunities for Joy and Connection
We run a number of internal events that create opportunities for our team to connect with each other, be themselves, and establish a sense of belonging at RedEye.
Some of our internal events include Superhero of the Month lunches to celebrate and recognise our team members’ wins, remote team catch-ups with the wider business, and Cake Days to celebrate birthdays.
Wellness at Work
- Discounted Gym Membership
- 2 x Additional Recharge Days
- Flexible Work Options
- Return to Work Program
- Dog-Friendly Workplace
- Mental Health Guest Speakers & Workshops
To support mental health and work/life balance at RedEye, our team are given two Recharge Days each year. It’s our way of encouraging our team to take time out and recharge, protecting our culture, and giving back to our team.
We also champion working from home, working remotely, paid parental leave, and flexible hours.
Strong leadership ensures our values and culture are championed as we scale, enabling us to continue to provide opportunities for our team and meet growth goals.
We deliver a range of internal learning and development initiatives, tailored to the different levels of expertise within the business.
Due to these initiatives, 12 of the 20 leaders in the business have come from internal promotions.
At least twice a month, our team gather to learn about something new from our clients, partners, community members, and each other.
Past Fravos include an espresso martini workshop (with mocktail option), live gigs, and guest speakers such as Orange Sky, The Good Beer Co., Lifeline Crisis Support, and 2 x World Record Holder Eleanor Conroy.
Diversity and Inclusion
Innovation begins with a diverse, inclusive team.
Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace begins with recruitment. To ensure diversity of thought, we involve multiple stakeholders in the recruitment process from different backgrounds and levels of the business. We provide cultural awareness training for our team and encourage staff to share their culture through internal events and activities.
1 in 3 of our team are from culturally diverse backgrounds.
46% of our team are from the industries we operate in.
Our internal committee “RedEye Gives Back” aims to raise a minimum of $20,000 per year across a range of causes. We’ve contributed to organisations such as the Young Veterans Society, MS Queensland, The Smith Family Oz Harvest, the Australian Bushfire Disaster Relief Fund, and Movember.
“We’re not just building a business.
We are building people, jobs, teams,
We’re building an ecosystem.”
